PHOTO OF THE DAY: SWAMP LOVE
Travel is a part of life for many Home schooled families. We are no exception. We travel when ever we can. Over the past few years we have been to Florida two times. The firsts trip we took we had our car so I was able to take small day trips out and about looking for photo ops. One thing I learned about the part of Florida was that it so so flat it was hard to find a spot that you could see a sunset and see anything in the landscape that would make a photo interesting. At least I could not seem to find many. So what is a photographer to do? Look lower of course. I went hiking around rest stops and under bridges. I was very happy with the many locations I was able to stumble across.

This was one of those spots you do not know you are going to find until your standing there. I had pulled into a spot on the other side of the road that I thought looked like a spot that would yield some great photos. Little did I know that once there I would find this walk way under the road that led me to this swampy area. I took a lot of photos of this spot. It was so great to be in a city yet so close to nature. I got done low for this shot and used a wide fish eye lens. It really gives the trees a tall look and and even more Jurassic feel.
